Haptickk’s Community Guidelines are the house rules for how everyone on the Platform treats each other—online in the app and offline during real-world bookings.
1. Why These Guidelines Exist
Haptickk connects real people and real businesses in the real world. That only works if everyone feels safe, respected, and treated fairly—Customers, Providers, and Infinity participants alike.
These Community Guidelines apply to every person who uses Haptickk. Providers are also held to additional standards in our Provider Terms and policies, but this page sets the baseline for the entire community.
2. Where These Guidelines Apply
These expectations apply to:
- Your profile and service listings.
- Messages, chats, and calls arranged through Haptickk.
- Photos, videos, and other content you share on Haptickk.
- Reviews and ratings you leave or receive.
- Behavior during any service, booking, class, performance, meal experience, wellness session, detail appointment, or event arranged through Haptickk, including visits to businesses, in-person sessions, and attendance at venues.
If something happens at or around a Haptickk booking—even if it occurs offline—these guidelines still apply.
3. Be Respectful: No Harassment or Hate
Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect. You may not:
- Use slurs, hate speech, or insults targeting someone’s race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristic.
- Bully, stalk, or aggressively harass others, including sending repeated unwanted messages or continuing contact after someone asks you to stop.
- Make threats of harm, “dox” others (share private details to target them), or encourage a coordinated pile-on against any individual.
Firm disagreement is permitted. Personal attacks, hate speech, and targeted harassment are not.
4. No Discrimination
Haptickk is not a place for discrimination.
Providers may not:
- Reject, cancel, or treat Customers differently because of protected characteristics such as race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or age (where services are otherwise appropriate).
- Post listings or policies that exclude people based on protected characteristics.
Customers may not:
- Demand discriminatory treatment from Providers (for example, requesting that a Provider refuse service to members of a specific group).
Some services may carry legitimate age, licensing, or safety restrictions (for example, alcohol service to persons of legal drinking age, medical clearance for certain Fitness activities, scope-of-practice rules for Wellness services). Those restrictions must be neutral, clearly documented, and tied to law or verifiable safety requirements—not to personal prejudice.
5. Keep People Safe: No Violence or Dangerous Behavior
Safety is non-negotiable. You may not:
- Use or threaten physical violence against anyone.
- Bring weapons to a booking unless they are clearly lawful, required for the service, and disclosed in advance (for example, tools used in licensed security services, where permitted by law).
- Engage in intimidation, stalking, or following someone after a booking has concluded.
- Encourage self-harm or suicide, or share content that glorifies self-harm.
If you feel unsafe, end the interaction if you can, move to a safe location, and report the situation through the in-app report flow. In any emergency, contact your local emergency services first.
6. Absolutely No Exploitation or Criminal Activity
Some conduct is never permitted on Haptickk under any circumstances. You may not use Haptickk for:
- Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or forced labor.
- Child sexual abuse or the endangerment of minors in any form.
- Selling or facilitating illegal drugs or controlled substances without proper licensing.
- Organizing or participating in organized crime, fraud rings, or money-laundering schemes.
- Any other criminal activity.
Haptickk may report suspected exploitation, child safety concerns, or serious criminal conduct to law enforcement or other relevant authorities where required or appropriate.
7. No Illegal, Explicit, or Extremely Risky Services
Haptickk is built for legitimate services and experiences. The following are not allowed:
- Explicit sexual services, escorting, or services whose primary purpose is sexual gratification. This includes any Wellness listing that a reasonable person would perceive as sexual in nature.
- Illegal gambling, unlicensed weapons sales, or other unlawful service offerings.
- Services that involve significant physical risk without proper training, licensing, or documented safety protocols. This includes Fitness, Culinary, Events & Media, Wellness, or Car Detailing offerings that exceed the Provider’s documented qualifications, scope of practice, or insurance coverage.
- Service of alcohol or food in violation of local food-safety, liquor-service, or age-verification laws.
- Mechanical vehicle repair, tire replacement, towing, roadside assistance, oil changes, or any service that requires operating a Customer’s vehicle away from the service location. Car Detailing on Haptickk is a cosmetic appearance service only.
- Any service or claim that a Provider offers medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or nutritional prescription services without being separately licensed to do so.
If you are unsure whether a service is permitted, you are responsible for reviewing our policies and confirming compliance with applicable law before listing or booking it.
8. Honor Privacy and Personal Boundaries
Respecting privacy is part of respecting people. You may not:
- Share another person’s personal contact information, home address, financial details, or other sensitive information without their explicit consent.
- Record audio or video of someone in private spaces without clear, prior consent, unless required by law or safety rules that you have disclosed upfront. This applies to in-person Fitness sessions, private dining experiences, Wellness sessions, at-home detailing appointments, and any Events & Media coverage.
- Publish private conversations or screenshots of in-app chats for the purpose of shaming, harassing, or targeting others.
If you need to share information with Haptickk in connection with a report, please use the in-app reporting tools.
9. Honest Listings, Honest Business
Haptickk is built on trust. That means:
- No scams or fraud. Do not misrepresent who you are, your qualifications, certifications (including fitness, food-handler, wellness, or music-licensing credentials), or what you are offering.
- No fake profiles or impersonation. Do not pretend to be someone else, including other Providers, Customers, or Haptickk staff.
- No off-platform payment schemes designed to circumvent Haptickk fees, where our Terms prohibit such arrangements.
- No misuse of the Infinity referral program to generate fake referrals, self-referrals, or circular transactions designed solely to accumulate rewards.
If something looks “too good to be true” or appears engineered purely to earn rewards or avoid fees, it likely violates our rules.
10. Reviews, Ratings, and Infinity Referrals
Reviews and referrals carry real weight. They must remain honest.
Regarding reviews, you may not:
- Post a review for a service you did not actually experience.
- Offer, request, or accept cash, gifts, discounts, or preferential treatment in exchange for only positive reviews or for the removal of negative reviews, except where clearly permitted by a transparent Haptickk program.
- Post reviews for your own Provider account or coordinate with others to artificially boost ratings.
- Coordinate review “brigading” (for example, organizing a group to post negative reviews in order to punish someone).
When sharing Infinity referral links, you may not:
- Make misleading earnings claims, including promises of guaranteed or “passive” income or statements that Infinity earnings continue indefinitely (Infinity earnings are limited to the ten-month Earning Window per Referred Provider).
- Conceal the fact that you may earn rewards when someone uses your link and completes eligible activity.
- Spam others with repeated, unwanted link sharing.
Keep it simple and honest: if you can earn a reward through a link, say so clearly in plain language.
11. Provider-Specific Expectations
Providers represent themselves and their businesses through Haptickk. In addition to everything above, Providers are expected to:
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work safely.
- Maintain environments that are as safe and clean as reasonably possible, including any in-person Fitness, Culinary, Events & Media, Wellness, or Car Detailing venue.
- Respect Customers’ property, personal boundaries, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, and medical considerations at all times.
- Follow all applicable laws, licenses, and industry standards relevant to their work, including food-safety, fitness certification, wellness licensing, music-licensing, image-rights, and alcohol-service rules.
- For at-home detailing, comply with local water-use and runoff rules and confirm that the service location permits car washing.
If a Provider brings staff or assistants to a job, the Provider is responsible for ensuring that those individuals also comply with these guidelines.
12. What Happens If You Break the Rules
Our goal is to correct behavior where possible and to protect people when necessary. Depending on the circumstances, Haptickk may:
- Remove or edit content, including listings, photos, bios, reviews, or other posts.
- Restrict certain features, such as messaging, posting, or access to specific service categories (including any Lifestyle sub-category).
- Temporarily suspend your account or your participation in the Infinity referral program.
- Permanently ban your account and prevent you from returning to Haptickk.
For serious issues including violence, threats, exploitation, human trafficking, child safety concerns, or other serious criminal conduct, Haptickk may also contact law enforcement or other appropriate authorities.
Enforcement decisions are based on the information available to us at the time. We may not be able to share every detail of our review process, particularly where safety or privacy considerations are involved.
13. How to Report a Problem
If something or someone on Haptickk makes you feel unsafe, or if you believe these guidelines have been violated, here’s what to do:
- Use the in-app report button wherever you encounter content or behavior that concerns you (for example, on a profile, listing, message thread, or review).
- For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then report the issue in the app once you are safe.
We review serious safety reports as promptly as reasonably possible, but we cannot guarantee specific response times in every situation.
The more detail you provide—what happened, when, where, and any relevant screenshots or booking IDs—the easier it is for us to understand the situation and take appropriate action.
14. Changes to These Guidelines
As Haptickk grows and evolves, these Community Guidelines may be updated. When changes are made:
- We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
- In some cases, we may provide additional notice within the app.
- If you continue using Haptickk after updates take effect, you are agreeing to follow the revised guidelines.
These Community Guidelines work best when everyone understands them and holds themselves and others to the same standard. By using Haptickk, you are helping build a safer and more respectful service community for everyone.
