Cookie Policy

Purpose and scope

This Policy explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with Haptickk's service marketplace, event ticketing, Infinity referrals, and Swarm campaigns. It supplements the Privacy Policy. “Cookies” here includes browser cookies, local storage, pixels, link identifiers, and comparable mobile SDK or device technologies. Not every category is enabled in every product or region. Use of the Platform alone is not consent to optional tracking where consent is required.

Technology categories

  • Necessary operation and security: Technologies needed for authentication, account sessions, checkout integrity, fraud prevention, consent records, and reliable delivery of requested features. A technology is not automatically necessary merely because it benefits Haptickk commercially.
  • Preferences and functionality: Optional storage for settings, display preferences, and convenience features, subject to the legal requirements applicable to the actual use.
  • Analytics and diagnostics: Information about performance, errors, feature use, and interactions used to understand and improve the Platform. Diagnostic data is not necessarily anonymous merely because it lacks a name.
  • Referral and campaign attribution: Link codes and associated interaction records used to recognize qualifying business referrals and eligible Swarm ticket conversions. The use of optional device storage remains subject to applicable consent and privacy rules.
  • Advertising and measurement: If enabled, technologies used to measure promotional campaigns or support targeted advertising. Legally required consent or opt-out controls must operate before such tracking is used. The deployed preference notice or inventory must identify the technologies actually present, relevant provider, purpose, duration, and available control. This Policy does not authorize an unlisted vendor or materially different tracking purpose without the required disclosure and consent.

Information and recipients

Depending on the enabled technology, information may include an IP address, browser or device details, session identifiers, referring link, campaign code, click timestamp, page or app interaction, consent choice, and associated transaction reference. Data may be linked to an account when lawfully needed for fulfillment, attribution, security, or another disclosed purpose. Some technologies are controlled by Haptickk; others are supplied by payment, security, analytics, or advertising partners. Partners acting on our behalf are subject to appropriate contractual restrictions. A party processing information for its own lawful purposes may have separate privacy responsibilities and its own notice.

Attribution versus retention

Swarm's commercial attribution window is 30 days from the most recent valid intentional promoter-link click, ending earlier if campaign or ticket eligibility closes. A generic view, background retry, Haptickk email, or login replay does not restart it. This eligibility rule does not require a cookie to last exactly 30 days or require every audit record to be deleted at expiration. Infinity uses a separate qualifying business-referral binding and earning period. A stored identifier is not an assurance that a referral qualifies, and deleting a cookie does not by itself erase a legally retained ledger or debt. Session storage generally ends with the applicable session; persistent storage lasts until its stated expiration or deletion. Exact durations depend on the actual technology and must be disclosed through the applicable inventory. Server-side transaction and security records follow the Privacy Policy's retention criteria. We do not claim a universal 24-month cookie lifetime.

Consent, opt-outs, and device choices

Where consent is required, optional tracking must remain off until a valid choice is obtained. Users must be able to refuse or withdraw optional consent without losing unrelated legal or purchase rights. Withdrawing consent does not erase processing already lawfully completed or records needed for legal obligations. Use the cookie preference controls provided in the website's consent interface where available. You may also contact legal@haptickk.com about choices or a missing control. A support email is not a substitute for an automated opt-out or consent control where the law requires one. Browsers allow cookie deletion or blocking. Mobile operating systems provide location, advertising, and app-tracking permissions. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent login or checkout; refusing optional tracking may limit measurement or attribution but does not justify overriding the choice. Haptickk honors legally recognized universal opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable, for the covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising use. A browser's traditional Do Not Track signal is distinct and may not communicate the same legal choice. Controls must be tested against the actual vendors, tags, and account behavior rather than relying solely on this statement.

Email measurement, changes, and contact

Where enabled and lawful, marketing email may contain measurement pixels or links. You can unsubscribe through the email's controls, adjust available preferences, and use your email application's image-loading controls. Necessary receipts and legal notices can still be sent through lawful channels. We will update the date and provide required notice or renewed consent for material changes. Continued use alone does not authorize a new optional tracking purpose where consent is required. Privacy contact: legal@haptickk.com.
